If have not seen matcha tea sprouting up in shops throughout the country, well, we’re really not sure why-the stuff is everywhere, such as your store or local Starbucks. This is popular for a good purpose. The stuff is loaded?with health advantages that can’t be passed up, including:

Weight loss: Matcha possesses a powerful antioxidant often called EGCG, which is most well-known if you are found in green leaf tea, but it?will help in weight-loss by supporting a normal metabolism. In a 2005 study authored by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, participants who drank teas daily lost double weight in 12 weeks when compared to participants who didn’t.?

Stress reduction: Research has revealed that matcha tea helps in cutting psychological and physiological stress. Unlike coffee, which can increase anxiety and make you jittery, this basically contains the complete opposite effect.

Antioxidant protection: Antioxidants help to lower?inflammation, protect your entire body from free radical damage, and may even help with cancer prevention. Matcha tea includes a ton-including that EGCG we spoke of before-as well as polyphenols, which might drive back cardiovascular illnesses and cancer and better regulate bp.?

While matcha is traditionally consumed as being a frothy tea, you could do this far more by it. (See: 6 Solutions to Cook with Matcha Tea.) One?fun,?tasty idea: A breakfast smoothie bowl. With nothing but fruit, greens, and seeds, this matcha smoothie bowl tastes like dessert-but it’s healthy enough early morning.?(Want more dessert-worthy recipes?
