Matcha Smoothie Bowl Recipe
- 1/2 cup hemp milk*
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach
- 1 large frozen banana
- 1/2 avocado
- juice of merely one lime
- 2 to a few ice cubes
- 1 date (optional, for sweetness)
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon matcha green tea leaf powder
- fresh berries
- dried coconut
- seeds (pumpkin or hemp are favorites)
Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend on high until smooth. Pour towards a bowl. Top with fruit, nuts, and seeds of preference.
*You can implement my simple and fast homemade hemp milk recipe, or use store-bought hemp milk.
Hemp Milk Recipe
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup hemp seeds
- 8 pitted medjool dates (or even more subject to desired sweetness)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
Place all ingredients within a high-speed blender.* Blend on high for One minute or until completely smooth. Pour into sealable glass jars and refrigerate a minimum of One hour before serving. Last approximately 4 days.
*For those that have a normal blender, you would like an added step: Should your hemp milk is not liquid enough, utilize a nut milk bag or cheesecloth to find the liquid on the seed/date particles.
